Our Story
When Emmanuela taught herself how to braid her two daughters' hair, she never knew that it would one day feed her family. Adrift in a new country her skill in braiding and friendly personality is what enabled her to gain 7 years of experience working in Ridgeland to provide for her family. But one day, she decided to take a risk. She saw a need in the city she had learned to call home, Clinton. So she handed over her keys and opened her own shop, NG, a childhood nickname coming from her traditional name "Ngozi" meaning "Blessing". And that's what this journey has been to her, a blessing. Every client that walks through her door is a blessing. And NG African Hair hopes to be a blessing to its Clinton Community.
